This year's project implementation aims to effectively control stationary pollution source, improve compliance with environmental laws, as well as reduce incidents of pollution in public and private places thus reducing the number of public complaints, improving public satisfaction, and finally improving our environment. To achieve the set goals,to broaden the effectiveness of Environmental Protection Bureau’s policies, to amend promotional schemes and concepts, to adjust conflicts between the environment and the economy, and etc., thus allowing future policies promoted with the best results. According to “100 annual Tainan city stationary sources of air pollution reduce emissions of Volatile organic compounds and air pollution fee reminders work program”, the project goals include the following eight items: 1.To investigate on stationary pollution source of VOC emissions, check and record operations, maintain and update the database of stationary sources of air pollution management system. 2.To check on petrol station’s scheduled tests, check on random petrol station’s gas recycling facilities, and supervise on the improvements of failed equipment. 3.To understand the condition of stationary pollution source emissions in private and public places, to supervise random checks, trace and manage the improvement progress of serious pollutants, urge public and private place to comply with law. 4.To estimate the amount of VOC that can be reduced, assist to reduce stationary pollution source, to draft up a reduction plan, and follow the improvement status. 5.To investigate and control air pollution's situation in Tainan’s food and beverage industry, aim at continuous public complaints or places where air pollution is more critical. 6.To implement all air quality related projects in Tainan, co-operate with EPA’s air quality improvement project and evaluation policy, in order to reach the goal of reducing air pollution and protect air quality of Tainan. 7.To monitor and control the environment's condition on a quarterly basis. 8.To collect and declare stationary pollution source air pollution control fee, save on file, verify, payment reminder and checking.
