The project, has completed the following main events, and the results are described below: 1. The street washing was completed 10,546.8 kilometers and the street sweeping was finished 10,994 kilometers. The total length of street cleaned is 21,540.8 kilometers. 2. The total water consumption for street washing is 13,121.87 tons. The water use per month is between 1.22 and 1.28 tons per kilometer, and average water use amounted to 1.24 tons/kilometer. 3. The collected street dust amounts to 131.73 tons. The amount of collecting dust per month is between 7.84 and 19.21 kilograms/kilometer, and the average collecting dust amount is 11.98 kilograms/kilometer. 4. The street washing task was completed 10,546.8kilometers and the total suspended particulate matter (TSP) reductions estimated 145.5 tons. The street sweeping task was finished 10,994 kilometers and the estimated reductions in TSP is 151.7 tons. Hence, the street cleaning operations on the project could reduce TSP about to 297.2 tons. 5. To promote the Adopt-A-Road program to reduce maintain cost. There are 32 businesses have joined the Yulin County Adopt-A-Road program, including the Sakura Motel which joined on May. The execution of adopted road length amounts to 12,156.73 kilometers, and estimated TSP reductions is about to 167.76 tons. 6. To improve paving pollution by agricultural machinery during farming season, ten paving pollution prevention workshops for rural communities which have larger harvest areas were held; 741 persons attended workshops. 7. Seven press releases about the project published on the print media and network. 8. media for promoting publicity.The satisfaction questionnaire for residents who live along with roads was implemented 1,093, and completed rate of contract was 106%. 9. The length of work field check was finished 2,535.2 kilometers, and total completed rate was 105.6%. The results above appeared care and endeavor of this project. 10. The total length of street pollution grade investigation between March 2012 and February 2013 was 931.4 kilometers (160 streets). The results of the investigation showed the street pollution main grade of the county is A. 11. Examining streets dust loadings before and after the street cleaning operations for 16 spots and checking of water quality of operating water were completed. The total completed rate was 100%. 12. The external examination of this project was held on August 15, 2012. And it was rated as excellent (A grade) by the committee. 13. To make a deeper impression on the public in street cleaning operations and enhance this conception, planning some education public awareness activities, including held the drawing competition, street cleaning operations demonstration seminars, agricultural pollution prevention demonstration seminars and the satisfaction questionnaire. These activities helped increasing visibility for the project and could be used as reference for carrying out follow-up plans.
