(I) Street-washing improves air quality
According to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) air quality annual report of R.O.C. (Taiwan), 2011. The street-washing had executed since March 6, 2012 until December 14, 2012, and in that time planning the street washing of Chiayi City each administrative region's major roads and stations around the roads, the total length of street-washing is 17,500 km at least, due to November 17 to December 14, 2010, including 16 rainy days, the workload could not be completed as schedule, the actual street-washing executed 17,117.4 km clearing, and cumulative reach a rate of 97.8%.
(II) Effective estimation of pollution reducing by street washing
