Yunlin County’s mobile pollution source control plan investigates if motors within its administrative region complete regular checkups. By reinforcing to check at the roadside, to conduct for free to check the exhaust of motors, and to help Environmental Protection Bureau to review the motors’ checking stations, this project has successfully pushed the motor users to have fortified maintenance of their motors and taught the drivers correct operation to reduce the pollution from motor’s exhaust to improve air quality effectively. By Mar 10, 2014, this project finished checking 15,251 un-inspected motors and have 12,399 motors returned for inspection. The rate of returning to check was about 81.3%. This project archived 88 periodical reviews for 352 Inspecting Stations in Yulin County. Also assisted the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yulin County to handle people’s state and plead, and to report the result.
