In order to reduce the air pollution from diesel in Taichung city.The 2014 diesel emissions testing and detection of illegal oil project in Taichung city was executed from February 2014 to December 2014. The project was authorized by Taichung City Environment Protection Bureau. The abstract of this project was listed as below. A. Inspection items a. 7604 diesels had been pollution emission tested in smoke emission test station. b. 1611 diesels had been pollution emission tested on the roadside and parking lot. c. We mailed 1802 copies of notification to ask the diesel owners whose diesel was emission the smoke on the road. d. We detected 670 oil samples to make sure that the diesel owner used the legal oil. B. Maintain and Inspection system The diesels which pass the self-management permit were being searched via camera to identify the diesels which had not finished the annual smoke emission test at Taichung harbor and highway.
