Yunlin County’s mobile pollution source control plan investigates if motors within its administrative region complete regular checkups. By reinforcing to check at the roadside, to conduct for free to check the exhaust of motors, and to help Environmental Protection Bureau to review the motors’ checking stations, this project has successfully pushed the motor users to have fortified maintenance of their motors and taught the drivers correct operation to reduce the pollution from motor’s exhaust to improve air quality effectively.
By Feb 28, 2015, this project finished checking 12 months un-inspected motors. Late undecided secondary notification documents seized 78,373 pieces of locomotive. Roadside stopped pending investigation seized 831 locomotives, roadside inspection locomotive exhaust 1,334 motorcycles were stopped, unqualified locomotive maintenance coupons issued 324 motorcycles，intersection locomotive inspectors seized undetermined number of valid totaled 5,251 units, outdoor locomotive periodic inspection services totaled 1,028 motorcycles.
Completion of three screenings of clean vehicle idling-stop-cum-advocacy outreach activities, to complete two screenings test locomotive exhaust inspection station staff in-service training seminars，locomotive particulate pollutants detection operations, locomotive exhaust inspection stations 105 stations from time to time to check anonymous times, completed locomotive exhaust inspection stations to check a total of 368 stations quarter times, completed 184 sub-standard gas station to check the job.
Diesel Vehicle Smoke Emission to detect the completion of a total of 2,661 vehicles，this plan completed the notifications of ‘judgment by visual determination’ to 505 vehicles; the cumulative number of vehicles in diesel vehicle exhaust 404 testing, outside the station examiner diesel vehicles570, check execution diesel oil 2,570 vehicles，passenger and freight industry fuel consumption tracking accumulated execution 20 times，the sulfur content of diesel fuel accumulated for detection 10 times, diesel fuel sulfur content in gas stations sampled and tested 10 times，proficiency testing has been completed twice，QA proficiency testing accumulated execution 17 times, Formosa plastics group MAI-LIAO industrial complex inspectors diesel exhaust filter cumulative 307 vehicles. Roadside stopped seized 51 vehicles test execution. Notify old diesel vehicles totaled 1,054 vehicles. Experts and scholars audit work 2 sessions.
