This is the first progress report of health risk assessment in nearby of the industrial park. The major progress of the report is integrating the pollution data of chemical identification, monitoring concentration in multimedia, geographical monitoring information, and toxicological information for human into PostgreSQL database. PostgreSQL database can associate with GeoNode interface to present the relativity of concentrations and geography. According to items of the mobile air monitoring station, eight species of IARC 2B chemical were preferentially collected toxicological data into database and the list of species as fellows :Benzene, carbon tetrachloride, vinyl chloride, 1,3-butadiene, chloroform, 1,2-dichloroethane, trichlorethylene, tetrachlorethylene. The project is divided into three parts: data collection, data collection, and database construction. First, this project has been to collect information in the environmental exposure model and the toxicological information for query and use. Second, try to classify all the information according to different characteristics. This part is divided into environment, and toxicology. In database construction, it has been collecting information on chemical substances relevant toxicological according to the Yunlin County Environmental Protection Agency list of IARC 2B as priority. Future work will continue to collect and update data, allowing all the information to keep up to date. In environmental exposure assessment model, we simulated the air pollutants using AERMOD with consideration of wind direction, wind speed, emissions and so on. The project estimated pollutant concentrations of the area of nearby industrial zone and simulated range from the industrial zone radius of about 10 kilometers during the 2012 to 2015. The plan used the Monte Carlo to rebuild pollutant emissions and integrated Bayesian maximum entropy method and result of diffusion model to estimate pollutant in study area. In monitoring system, find a better spatial location and frequency by the existing monitoring vehicles. We refer to the literature and add to the health effects related factors, which give the proper Weighting for factors. Weighting factors are population density, pollutant toxicity characteristic, and uncertain of concentration of pollutants. Expected approach proposed in this progress. In environmental exposure assessment model, literature review on air dispersion model and multimedia model have been revealed in this report and both model were developing in preliminary situation. The appropriate strategy with environmental and healthy monitoring system were reviewed on sampling location and frequency. The difference of health risk assessment between technical manual by Environmental Protection Administration (Taiwan) and this project has indicated in report.
