Project for Promoting, Reviewing and Checking the Credit Guarantee for Loans Aiming to Low Carbon and Sustainable Homeland

Based on the strategy of “Low Carbon Homeland”, the Environment Protection Administration (EPA) cooperates with the Small and Medium Enterprise Credit Guarantee Fund (SMEG) to establish the co-guarantee fund and assist enterprises in obtaining finance for conducting air quality protection, air pollution control and energy service. The major task of this project is to promote the “Credit Guarantee Progrm for Loans Aiming to Low Carbon and Sustainable Homeland”, review loan application documents and hold review meetings. By gathering and analyzing the operation mechanisms and results of other credit guarantee programs, holding information sessions and symposium, and carrying out statistical analysis of the credit guarantee program’s results, auditing and checking the application enterprises and financial institutions, the guideline for the “Credit Guarantee Progrm for Loans Aiming to Low Carbon and Sustainable Homeland” was reviewed and some suggestions were submitted for revising the guideline and the operation of the credit guarantee program in the future.
