This project in 2016 involves 27 tasks, including gathering and survey of the project-related environmental background data; patrol on the clean air zone of the City, and survey and improvement of exposed area; assistance in the annual EPA evaluation and the evaluations according to the Bureau’s air pollution project; meetings, propaganda, people-convenient measures and people satisfaction; and project management (including maintenance and evaluation of systems). Since the signing on Jan. 27 till Dec 31, the percentage of achievement of the Project is 100%. Reduce the estimated effect of PM10 6.4 mt, tree planting 9,816. The Project executed contracts for NT$5,775 thousand, and involves dedicated human power, specified by contracts, including project manager and four engineers, and non-dedicated project leader. Milestones for the completion of 31.68 hectares exposed area counseling improved, 3.6 ha plant tree planting, funding application for the case review conference to promote 1 adopt base operations, maintenance of air quality purification area arbor resume, such as checking and monthly routine, 5 improvement clean air zone of government subsidies, 2 tree planting activities. Taichung City Government with the Million Tree Project for 8 years, EPA completed a total about of 62,301 planted, annual progress 100%。
