The main content of this project included：air pollution emissions investigation at temples and altars, pollution reduction promotion, open burning air pollution control operations and catering industry air pollution control operations. The results of the implementation report are summarized below：
A. The Investigation of air pollution emissions at temples and altars and pollution reduction promotion.
I. Temple implement air pollution management：This year there are 147 temples implementation of air pollution management in Chiayi City, more than 104 years, more than 75. Temple implementation of pollution control has 143 government units registered, accounting for 95% of the total temple.
II. Self-management of the temple maintenance：Centralized burning paper money204.12 tonnes per year, Reduce the use of paper money 88.6 metric tons per year, Reduce the amount of burning incense 5.45 million per year, Improve lighting, reducing electricity use per year 2,506,566 kw / hr, Reduce particulate matter emissions from 2,927 kg / year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions of 1,943 tons / year.
III. The completion of the temple air pollutant emissions status survey 150, 100% of the progress of work completed.
IV. Handle paper money burning activity centralized in tomb sweeping day, after activity statistics, centralized combustion process 10,920 kg of paper money;in the 7th month of the lunar calendar,known as ghost festival, after activity statistics, centralized combustion process 96,245 kg of paper money.
V. With the promotion of social welfare contributions, instead of burning paper money, reduce air pollution. During the tomb sweeping day events, statistics and donations amounting to 50,488 yuan, it estimated there are 544 people responded (including famiport system).And during the ghost month, statistics and donations amounting to 96,051 yuan, it estimated there are 557 people responded (including famiport system).
B. Open burning air pollution control operations.
I. Implementation of open burning control efforts, this year is expected to complete the 390, at this stage has been completed as of Dec 09, work rate reached 100%.
Ⅱ. Do not open burning straw policy advocacy conference, respectively, in this year's Jun 23 apply and Nov. 25, work rate reached 100%.
Ⅲ. Encourage farmers to re-use straw, through grant, totaling 90 counseling farmers, improve farmlands 57.95 hectares.
C. The food and beverage industry air pollution control operations.
I. Executive catering petition air pollution control, control efforts as of Dec 09, 274 checks have been completed, work rate reached 100%.
II. After inspection, there are 106 restaurants industry to execute projects to improve air pollution, as of Nov 68 has been the family business to complete and improve the rate of 85%, has not improved, has been going on track.
III. Catering air pollution to improve counseling , as of Nov , has completed 40 food and beverage industry pollution improvement counseling , job rate reached 100%.
