This project is based on the provisions of Article 6 of the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Law of the Pingtung County Government Environmental Protection Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Environmental Protection Agency). It regularly tests the quality of soil and groundwater in the area under its jurisdiction, and the test results are deemed to contain pollutants. Concentrations of soil or groundwater pollution monitoring standards or regulatory standards, should take appropriate measures. Work items include underground water quality sampling analysis, simple tap water sampling analysis, monitoring wells external maintenance repair and well cleaning operations, and agricultural soil sampling and analysis operations. The benefits of the implementation of this project are to grasp the current conditions of soil and groundwater in Pingtung County to ensure the quality of local soil water and people's health.
For groundwater detection, five submerged wells were selected near the forest sections of 347, 363, 364, 367, 368, 370, 549, 552, 555, 558, 562, and 565 in the township of Linbian, and the analysis project included 8 heavy metals ( Copper, Mercury, Zinc, Lead, Chromium, Cadmium, Arsenic, Nickel, and General Measurements: Nitrate Nitrogen, Nitrite Nitrogen, Fluoride Salt, Total Hardness, Total Dissolved Solids, Chloride, Ammonia, Sulfate, Total organic carbon, total phenols, etc. The project team has performed sampling on April 7, 2005. The test results show that the five common groundwater wells and heavy metal detection items meet the second groundwater regulations and standards.
For simple tap water testing, water samples were taken from Jiuai Village, Zhenxing Village and Gaolang Village in Yanpu Township to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and general items in the water. Volatile organic compounds inspection items were: benzene, toluene, naphthalene, ethylbenzene, Xylene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, dichloromethane, 1,1-dichloroethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, vinylidene chloride, trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, vinyl chloride Etc.; general project detection is: water temperature, hydrogen ion concentration index, conductivity, chloride, total hardness, total dissolved solids, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen and so on. The detection frequency was 1 for each of the dry and wet periods, a total of 6 times. During the dry season of the project, simple tap water sampling was performed on April 7, 105 and Fengshui period on August 17, 2005. The results of the analysis showed that in terms of general survey items, Jiuai and Zhenxing villages were exposed to water in the dry and wet periods. The total hardness exceeds the maximum value of drinking water and drinkability. The total dissolved solids in the water of Jiuai Village and Zhenxing Village during the wet period exceed the maximum limit of the drinkable and sensory effects of drinking water, and the remaining items are in compliance. Drinking water regulations and standards, in terms of volatile organic compounds, the detection concentration of each item is ND (not detected), and it meets the regulations and standards for drinking water to affect healthy substances. The above tests are also in line with the second groundwater monitoring standards.
In the maintenance and well-washing operations of 75 monitoring wells in Pingdong County, the external maintenance of monitoring wells was performed in the first half of the year. The monitoring wells counted the following equipment missing: 2 warning pole fractures (Shinwei Elementary School, Takein Junior High School), and protection One casing cap was lost (Ronghua Elementary), and the missing parts of the monitoring well's external equipment were all repaired. The Tukuk monitoring platform was covered by cement ground. The school has carried out rehabilitation and improvement projects to restore the original platform of the monitoring well. The project completed the external maintenance of the monitoring well on July 25. A total of six wells in the monitoring wells were found to have insufficient water in the monitoring wells and were unable to perform well-washing operations. These were monitoring wells located in the bustling elementary and junior high schools, Chaozhou Middle School, Gaoshu Elementary School, Wanlong Elementary School, Gaoshu National Middle School, and Guanfu Elementary School. After completion of the application for extension, well-washing operations were completed on July 26th.
The first half of the project's monitoring water level measurement records show that the average value of the 75 monitoring wells' water level measurement and the previous measurement difference is 2.91 meters, which is estimated to be the impact of the dry season. The difference between the well depth measurement depth and the well depth after the last well flushing was a total of 0.003 m with a standard deviation of 0.078 m. In the second half of the year, the mean value of the difference between the water level measurement of 75 monitoring wells and the first half of the year was 2.87 meters, which was estimated to be the result of the flood season. The depth difference between well depth monitoring and well cleanup in the first half of the year averaged an increase of 0.011 meters and a standard deviation of 0.114 meters, with no significant change.
In terms of appearance characteristics of the retention water of the monitoring wells, there were 19 monitoring wells in the dry season with clear and colorless water; there were 27 water-coloured black or grey, 5 red-coloured, and 22 monitoring wells in yellow or khaki. In terms of odor, only seven monitoring wells recorded odor, but the odor concentration was not obvious, and it was estimated that the effect on monitoring well function was not serious. The turbidity measurement was measured with 30.80 NTU as the turbidity of the Xiaojiao monitoring well, and was less than 30 NTU in the remaining monitoring wells. The total average turbidity measurement of all monitoring wells was 12.51 NTU. The monitoring wells retained water pH value measured between 6.43 ~ 8.51, with a total average of 7.67. The monitoring data of retained water in monitoring wells are particularly prominent: the conductivity of monitoring wells in Xinlong Community Park is as high as 37,400 μmho/cm, and the conductivity of monitoring wells in Seagull Park is as high as 28,700 μmho/cm. The conductivity of the remaining monitoring wells is normal. It is speculated that Two monitoring wells are adjacent to the sea, and groundwater is affected by seawater intrusion.
In the wet season, the overall water color is more clear and colorless than in the first half of the year; there are only 3 waters with black or gray color; there is no monitoring well with a red water color; there are only 5 wells in the watery yellow or khaki. No odor monitoring wells were found. The turbidity measurement was measured with the highest turbidity of the Xiaoyuan monitoring well with 80.10 NTU, followed by the Wanwei small monitoring well with 37.00 NTU, and the rest of the monitoring wells with a retention water turbidity of less than 30 NTU. The turbidity of all monitoring wells The measured average is 7.22 NTU. The monitoring well retention water pH value measurement ranged from 5.90 to 8.20, with an average value of 7.14. The acid and base values in the second half of the year were slightly lower than the first half of the year. The monitoring data of retained water in the monitoring wells was measured at a chestnut-small scale of 5310 μmho/cm. In addition, a high value of 3230 μmho/cm was also measured at the Linbian national small monitoring well. The conductivity of monitoring wells in the Xinlong community park has been reduced respectively in the second half of the year. To 3690 μmho/cm and 2940 μmho/cm.
This year's plan is to implement the re-completion operations of 6 monitoring wells for 104 foreign bodies during the year, and according to the results of the well status assessment, the functions of the six monitoring wells have returned to normal. Foreign bodies in the well (roots, leaves, plastic tubes, gloves, etc.) Intrusion) The effect on the internal function of the monitoring well should be eliminated.
The project carried out sampling and analysis operations in Block 60 of farmland in Wanjiao Township. The analysis project included 8 heavy metals in the soil. The results showed that the concentration of heavy metals in the soil in each block was lower than the soil monitoring standard for agricultural land.
The plan has been held on May 13th, 105th in QA/QC inspection meeting. According to the members' review opinions, all of them have responded to the comments and cooperated to improve the relevant measures.
The expected effect of this project is to ensure the credibility of the groundwater sampling analysis by implementing the external facilities and internal functions of the Pingdong County regional groundwater monitoring well. For groundwater testing in areas with potential for pollution, safeguarding the safety of water for the people in the area, and investigating farmland soil quality to ensure the safety of crops.
