I. Climate Change Adaptation Training Course In response to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change in this county, the training course on adaptation to climate change is adapted to allow citizens to understand the impact of climate change on the county and how to adapt and respond to climate change. The plan uses students and the public as training objects to conduct climate change. Knowledge of the changes, the program completed a total of 6 training courses, which the junior high school and the elementary school. A total of 968 people participated in the program. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the project was not familiar with the issues of climate change until the training. There is a certain degree of understanding and emphasis on climate change. II. Expert Consultation on Climate Change and Adaptation In order to implement the adaptation and mitigation of climate change, the project invited experts and scholars from various fields to hold an expert consultation meeting on climate change and adaptation. The meeting was the subject of extreme rainfall shocks and adjustments. Through this meeting, the government offices were discussed and coordinated to provide Inter-departmental Offices jointly promote the gradual adjustment of climate change in Chiayi County to strengthen disaster prevention and response and climate risk response. III. Regional Observations on Climate Change In order to achieve the purpose of reducing and adjusting the climate change, the project takes the climate change slowdown and adjustment as the main axis, and handles the “106-year seminar on climate change in the Chiayi County”, with Alishan Township as the venue for meeting management and observation, due to Alishan Mountain. In the 98th year, the township was severely damaged by Morakot’s extremely severe rainfall. IV. Examining the emission source operation and discharge-related facilities and related data within the jurisdiction In 2006, Chiayi County applied for a total of 4.88 million metric tons of emissions from six units, two units of voluntary declarations, and 50,000 metric tons of emissions from two units of solid pollution declaration data. This team targeted 105 in the year 106 in 106 years. The unit conducts checks and counselling, and the total amount of total emissions is 4.93 million metric tons of CO2e.
