The construction project is mainly governed by the "Management Regulations for Construction Project Air Pollution Control Facilities”. However, the dust, noise, road pollution, and so on, caused by the construction are most complained by civilians. It is necessary to improve the setup of the protection facilities in the industry and to use the control measures of higher efficiency to achieve the reduction of pollutants which are generated during the construction. In addition, a number of ancillary projects in the past years are continuously integrated as “the ten friendly measures of the construction site”; it can enhance overall control effectiveness. 1,866 inspections of construction sites have been implemented. 54.03 percent of the inspections comply with the Regulations of Management Measures and 78.73 percent of those comply with the Management Measures for Level-1 and Level-2 Construction Sites. The TSP production is 658.586 tons; the TSP reduction is 429.824 tons with the reduction rate 65.26 percent. The following are other implemented tasks: two construction site and noise pollution prevention propaganda meeting are held, advancing road-adoption up to 3,016.2765 kilometers is promoted, 20 places are pasted with road-adoption lines, 47 fences are beautified and greening 59.930 hectares of bare construction sites, and 5 CCTVs are set. In statistics of noise of construction site, there are 403 initiative inspection cases of construction site noise, reaching 100 percent of the work target, wherein the average inspection frequency is 1.5 times, and there are 268 places in control after inspection. There are 268 places with related measures of sound insulation, 55 places with vibration isolation and 268 places with positive action of noise reduction. So far, the plan has accepted and heard 76 cases of construction site noise.
