2018 Hsinchu City's catering industry comprehensive check and equipment compliance check plan, which implementation period is dated from August 3, 2018 to December 31, mainly focused on the implementation of the catering industry check, collective survey of vendors and the promotion of environmental protection demonstration area and so on. The results of the various implemented works are as follows: A.Catering industry check According to the scale of catering registration and administrative division, 610 were inspected and 435 inspections were completed, 212 out of which had air pollution prevention facilities, and the overall installation rate was 82.8%; 179 were shut down and 16 refused to be checked, as well as 175 were still not opened after 2 or more check intents. B.Collective survey of vendors A total of 183 catering industry inspections in 19 locations were completed in the census of the collective vendors. Through the promotion of improvement work and follow-ups and the promotion of two environmental protection demonstration areas, a total of 50 stall vendors had installed end-of-pipe pollution prevention equipment, 46 out of which had added adsorption tanks and 4 had added electrostatic machines. The pollutant reduction rate is 8.94 to 9.06%. C.Estimation of emissions 1.Reduction assessment (50 vendors improved) The estimated pollution reduction rate TSP: 666 kg, THC: 2687 kg, NMHC: 1182 kg, PM10: 639 kg, PM2.5: 592 kg. 2.Emission amount check (2017-2018) The estimated pollution reduction rate TSP: 49.58%, THC: 46.49%, NMHC: 46.49%, PM10: 49.58%, PM2.5: 49.58% can be estimated. 3.Compare with EPA's TEDS 9.0 emissions database Among them, TSP, PM10 and PM2.5 showed a downward trend with a decrease of about 10%, while THC and NMHC showed a significant increase of about 40%.
