The project was implemented on March 22, 2017, and the work included: implementation of local government research and implementation of greenhouse gas control implementation plan and construction of low-carbon sustainable home implementation and management operations, maintenance of the "Technology and Information Advisory Group" for the low-carbon sustainable homeland mechanism, counseling and assistance to townships and villages for participation in the EPA's "Low-carbon Sustainable Homeland Certification and Rating", counseling and assistance to communities in promoting low-carbon sustainable operation projects, training or seminars to community staff for promoting low-carbon sustainable communities, implement the first batch of emission source declaration lists that should be checked for registered greenhouse gas emissions in 2017 and verify the data on the spot, maintenance and update of the Low-Carbon Sustainable Homeland website. The results of the various projects as of November 30, 2018 are described as follows: 1. Held to the cross-department "Communication, Coordination and Integrated Promotion" meeting track and collect the results of the low-carbon business promotion of each bureau, and develop a greenhouse gas control implementation plan.. 2. Assisted counties and cities in the central living circle to complete 10 certification projects, assisted to promote result inspections through the "Eco-Greening - Technology this year. The results after review and verification were published on the "Low-carbon Sustainable Homeland Information Website". 3. Assisted 65 villages and 10 townships in Yunlin County to successful registration, 10 villages and one township to obtain a bronze rating, and three villages to extend the validity period of their bronze rating. So far, a total of 218 villages have been selected as finalists or have received ratings. The village participation rate is 55.8% (218/391), and the township participation rate is 100%. 4. Assisted 10 communities in promoting low-carbon sustainable operation projects. The certification of the achievements have been reviewed and published on the "Low-carbon Sustainable Homeland Information Website", and the carbon reduction benefits are 23,468 kgCO2e /year. 5. Conducted five sessions of training or seminars to community staff for promoting low-carbon sustainable communities. The total number of attendants was 464, and the average number of attendants for each session was 93. 6. Implement the first batch of emission source declaration lists that should be checked for registered greenhouse gas emissions in 2017 and verify the data on the spot, with the total of 17 companies having completed the data and the online registration data are consistent. Compare to the same in 2016, the total emissions in 2017 were reduced by 652,622 metric tons of CO2e, which was approximately 1.21%. 7. Maintained and updated the "Low-carbon Sustainable Homeland Facebook of Yunlin County". A total of more than 133 messages or articles on energy conservation and carbon reduction were shared, with 10,839 viewers and 740 interaction participants. 8. Purchased 500 energy-saving carbon reduction propaganda materials and produced low-carbon sustainable homeland certification medals (one for the township level and 11 for the village level).
