In response to global climate change, in order to effectively reduce and manage greenhouse gas emissions, implement environmental justice, and do our part to jointly protect the global environment, and ensure the sustainable development of our country, we aim at the use of electricity by the residential sector, through the implementation of this project, effectively promoting and learning ways and attitudes to effectively use energy, reducing building energy consumption and promoting the promotion of energy-saving equipment, and achieving energy conservation goals. Second, through environmental education activities, we try to awaken the public’s attention to energy use and the implementation of energy conservation and promote the shaping of a low-carbon sustainable living environment in the city. Since the project was signed and implemented, we have begun to plan a series of courses on residential energy-saving and low-carbon sustainable home action plans. Through curriculum arrangement and handling, we will focus on the key places and communities to promote energy-saving improvements and low-carbon actions. Through the implementation of school energy education activities and low-carbon community observation activities, the concepts of carbon reduction and energy conservation can spread horizontally and develop downward. Statistically, the implementation period of this project is from August 6, 2019 to December 31, 2019, and all work statistics have been fully reached by December 31, and the work completion rate is 100%, which meets the needs of the planned work objectives. Quantitative implementation schedule of each work item, The summary of implementation results is as follows： 1. Residential energy-saving renovation and course promotion (I) renovation has been scheduled, which be done for 10 courses, the number of guides reached 379 people.The course covered different aspects of residential and commercial energy-saving courses for the participants to better understand the practice of energy conservation and carbon reduction. (II) We have carried out energy-saving and carbon-reducing diagnostic assessments for four different commercial businesses in a total of 8 cities in the city; on-site diagnosis surveys and suggestions on the power system, lighting system, air-conditioning system and other categories of the site, and estimates if improvements are made in accordance with the recommendations. It can save 298,805 kWh / year of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 159.67 metric tons / year. 2. Low-carbon community transformation and curriculum promotion (I) In order to promote a low-carbon sustainable home, a series of courses on the low-carbon sustainable operation function action plan has been implemented. The 15 course is complete , with a total of 512 participants. The courses of the low-carbon sustainable operation function action courses are taught in different directions, so that the people in the participating communities can better understand the purpose and significance of low-carbon sustainable home promotion, and have a deeper understanding of the action plans, which will help future practical operations. (II) We have Invited teachers Cai Jingzhu and Chen Ronghong from the technical consultation and rating review team of the Southern District of the low-carbon sustainable home to serve as counselling members to conduct a low-carbon sustainable operation function for coaching a total of 15 communities below bronze level and spot investigation for action items. (III) This year, the “cross-city and country low-carbon demonstration and observation learning activity” was conducted for communities below the bronze level in this city. The observation target was Jinhuali (silver-rated community) in Tainan City, which is also a metropolitan city. It will be implemented, with a total of 87 participants, with good for grow in low-carbon community. 3. Energy conservation education advocacy (I) In order to strengthen the energy conservation and carbon reduction literacy of school children in primary schools, and at the same time raise the awareness of energy education, the teachers and students of the four primary schools were respectively treated for "saving Energy protects the earth, everyone is the Earth Defense Force "," Love the earth, fight on the FUN electricity, Save energy! You’rebest energy." Two kinds of energy conservation education and promotion activities with a total of 4 times, 855 people were held. (II) Production of energy-saving publicity videos, This year, the energy education publicity films were animated, and two animations on the theme of building insulation, energy saving and renewable energy (solar energy) were produced. After the production was completed, the promotion activities were conducted through the FB Facebook fan page of the Chiayi Municipal Government Environmental Protection Bureau, which resulted in a total of 2,095 video views, 358 people liked, 351 comments, and 119 shared. In addition, it was broadcast through two key intersection LED broadcast boards (in front of Wenhua Road Night Market and in front of Chiayi Railway Station), which broadcast a total of 4,032 grades to achieve the effect of film promotion and exposure.
