The evaluation program of stack PM measurement performance

Absrtact
The simulated emission stack established by the NIEA can generate stable gas velocity, particle mass concentration and temperature for the tester to carry out the PM measurement. This plan confirm that the domestic environmental detection capability and accuracy was improved effectively. The purpose of this study is to reduce noise, evaluate the effect of temperature, perform comparison operations, analyze comparison results, conduct ultra-low concentration measurement, and establish a CPM generation system. The noise generated by the PM control device was successfully controlled below 57 dB(A) and complied with regulatory standards. The temperature used in the comparison is 45 °C, which can increase the discrimination of the comparison, and also reduce the cost used in the comparison. This temperature is also unaffected by the atmospheric temperature. The number of comparisons in this year is 20, and the ratio of low concentration is at least 7 times. The comparison results had been analyzed by statistical analysis to find the best estimation model. The particle feeding rate can achieve the mass concentration below 50 mg/m3 with a restrictor and the lowest mass concentration is 6.81 mg/Nm3. The theoretical value of the mass concentration obtained by the calculation is quite close to the comparison result, and this value can be used as the comparison standard value in the future.A small CPM generator was developed and is able to generate stable CPM. A small heated stack is suggested to provide the CPM comparsion test. The circulating is not recommended for the comparsion because it is unable to ensure that it provides stable condition. The sample size should be increased to prevent the model from producing negative values. The precision and accuracy should be evaluated by year and year.
