Air Quality Monitoring Van used in Petrochemical Industrial Park specifically operated and maintained in Yunlin County in 2020

Absrtact
This project aims to maintain the regular operation of vehicles and equipment dedicated to air quality monitoring for the petrochemical industry. This goal is achieved through routine maintenance and QA/QC to ensure the accuracy of monitoring equipment and data quality. The second goal of this project is to understand the impacts of The No. 6 Naphtha Cracker Complex on regional air quality through data analysis. This information can be incorporated into policymaking strategies at the county level to improve air quality. Maintenance and quality assurance were performed on monitoring equipment at all levels according to a predetermined schedule. The usability of monthly data from each device was over 80%, suggesting the overall data were representative. In 2020, one monitoring vehicle was permanently stationed at the Ciaotou Elementary School, Xucuo Campus. The other monitoring vehicle was stationed at different locations, with adjustments made seasonally based on wind direction variations. The second monitoring vehicle locations included Wengang Security Checkpoint, Haifeng Community Park, and the Formosa Petrochemical Corporation (FPCC)’s Harbor Administrative Office.
