The execution of this project spans ten months from 2020.04.29 to 2021.02.28. The current phase is the middle work progress report on the 5-month execution, including tasks and executive summary as follows: 1.A total of 269 applications for permits were accepted during the project execution and 141 permits were issued after review and site survey, without any dismissal for late and secondary applications. That demonstrated the ability of the fast review mechanism, by which the reviewers took initiative in notifying the businesses of the opinions on document review, and the applicants were allowed to change documents within 3 days. Due to the convenient procedure, the occasions of rejection for the reason of being late for correction were minimized. 2.The private and public places in this county that have been granted operation permits are in the number of 291, involving 568 operation permits, which allow emission of air polluting substances including 2,642.50 tons/year of particular matters, 10,012.69 tons/year of sulfur oxides, 18,713.94 tons/year of nitrogen oxides and 5,617.74 tons/year of VOCs. 3.The amount of levied air pollution fees for 2020 was NT$24,4920,577; polluting substance emissions of particulate matters, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and VOCs were 1,075.72 tons, 5,151.18 tons, 13,486.89 tons and 4,006.98 tons. 4.Permit rating checks were conducted 203times and found 4 cases reportable against the Air Pollution Act. 5.Expert examination was conducted 3 times and 5 times in Dounan and Douliu each. Examination hours covered daytime and nighttime, and the examination was assisted by scientific instruments to check and sample with. Neither the examinations found pollution with strange odors.
