Environmental Protection Bureau of Kinmen County promotes “Service
Project of Environmental Educational Promotion” in 2021. In order to promote
environmental education in depth and diversity, this project organizes different
genres of activities in environmental education, such as outdoor learning and
experiential activities, profoundly enhancing the public’s mindset in environmental
protection and policies. This service project displays the fruitful results as follows.
1. Handle matters required by the local government under the Environmental Education Law.
(1) On June 15, the review and revision of the 109 Environmental Education Action Plan results report was completed, and the preparations were submitted.
(2)The first session of the Environmental Education Review Conference was held on May 21, and a written review meeting was adopted.
(3)The second session of the Environmental Education Review Conference was held on September 30 to review the Kinmen County Environmental Education Action Plan from 110 to 112.
(4)On November 11, submit the Kinmen County Environmental Education Action Plan (revised version) for 110-112 years.
2.World Forest Day, Earth Day, and World Environment Day cooperate with "Deep Plowing in Environmental Education" to organize environmental festivals and other environmental education related activities.
(1)World Forest Day, held on March 20th and March 21st for "World Forest Day ". A total of 76 people participated in the 2 sessions to promote LNT concept.
(2)On Earth Day, on April 24th and April 25th, there will be 2 sessions of "Take care not to waste, share good food". A total of 76 people participated in the 2 sessions. They learned about Food Wise and turned leftovers. Shoot 3 short videos to expand your influence.
(3)World Environment Day series of activities.
a.One environmental education seminar was held on October 6th. A total of 35 persons in charge of facilities and volunteers were invited to discuss field development issues and directions through a civic café.
b.Produce 2,000 brochures of environmental education facilities to promote the characteristics of the site and the content of the teaching plan.
c.Handle 6 sessions of "Summer Shadows and Environmental Film Appreciation" activities, with a total of 291 participants. Discuss with experts through environmental films, prompting participants to reflect on issues such as air pollution, climate change, and marine ecology.
d.Handling 2 online activities, the first one was online from June 4 to June 20 to encourage people to stay at home during the epidemic, reaching 18,458 people, totaling 1,174 messages; the second time encouraging people to come in person Outdoor learning in environmental education facilities and sites, reaching 13,406 people and a total of 99 messages.
e.Handle two environmental protection volunteer fun competitions, with a total of 214 participants from 10 teams.
3.Handle environmental education innovation and characteristics as a plan.
(1)Community tour environmental education courses, conveying environmental protection and the latest environmental protection policies, 12 sessions were conducted, and a total of 422 people participated.
(2)2School environmental education promotion briefings to increase students' sensitivity and awareness of environmental issues. 27 sessions were held and 4,388 people participated.
(3)The Kinmen County Environmental Education Information Network is updated and maintained, and the test result report is submitted quarterly according to the contract.
(4)Operation and management of the EPA Facebook fan page. Compared with December 31, 109 (4,815 people), as of November 10, 110 (8,428 people), the number of likes increased by 3,613, a 75% increase.
4.Counseling and inspection work on environmental education law.
(1)In April and November, a total of 3 conferences on the operation of the environmental education declaration system were handled, with a total of 105 participants.
(2)Implement the 109 implementation results and plan review, a total of 10 units were randomly checked, and the number of random checks was 11.5%.
5.Training and daily application and management of environmental protection volunteers.
(1)Counsel the Xiputou and Sipu communities to set up environmental protection volunteer teams.
(2)A total of 4,961 hours of management and application volunteers were used, and 3,086 people used volunteer services.
(3)On August 14th, an 8-hour training course for environmental protection volunteers was held, with a total of 49 participants.
(4)On September 5th, an 8-hour training course was conducted for a total of 51 participants. Volunteers are trained to properly use online resources and integrate with the EPA's governance main axis to facilitate subsequent environmental education and teaching.
(5)On May 2nd, organize the 110th County Environmental Protection Volunteer Team Contact Conference and networking party; October 9th, October 30th, and November 27th, handle the 2nd to 4th Volunteer Team Leaders Contact Conference.
(6)The number of volunteer hours is uploaded to the volunteer service information system every month as required.
6.The 110-year local preliminary contest of the environmental knowledge contest and the finals in Taiwan.
(1)On October 3, the preliminary contest of the Kinmen County Environmental Knowledge Contest was held. A total of 355 people signed up for the competition; 299 people participated in off-site activities.
(2)From November 19th to November 21st, a total of 41 people participated in the finals of the environmental knowledge contest to Taiwan.
7.Primary selection, re-election guidance and administrative assignments for the 8th National Environmental Education Award
(1)On April 21st, we will handle the briefing on filling out the preliminary examination form.
(2)Has coached 4 groups of units to participate in the preliminary selection of the National Environmental Education Award.
(3)Complete 4 sets of field visits on September 10 and September 11, and handle the award ceremony on October.
8.Selection and promotion of environmental education picture books
(1)1On March 18th, experts and scholars were invited to conduct a review meeting for the selection method of environmental education picture books.
(2)The picture book selection review meeting was held on August 19, 110. A total of 17 excellent works were collected this year. One winner, one winner, and three masterpieces will be selected, and the award ceremony will be held on September 5.
(3)Prepared this year's environmental education picture books with excellent and excellent teaching plans, and invited environmental education volunteers as lecturers for campus promotion. A total of 3 sessions were attended by 106 teachers and students.
(4)Completed the printing of 109 special excellent and excellent works, 110 special excellent, excellent, excellent works and other works, a total of 350 copies.
(5)Filming of 109 and 110 award-winning environmental education picture books, storytelling videos, and online promotion, a total of 9 pieces.
(6)Participate in the National Environmental Education Picture Book Carnival in Taiwan on October 22 and October 23.
9.Handling environmental protection summer camps.
(1)Combining the county's environmental education facilities, green restaurants, and green stores to handle a total of 6 tiers of camp activities on a day, with a total of 173 teachers and students participating.
10.Counseling the community to apply for and implement environmental-related subsidy programs.
(1)Counseling 5 communities to implement community environmental surveys and renovation plans. All results reports and funding write-off data have been submitted before November 30.
(2)On November 27th, the 111-year "Community Environmental Investigation and Reconstruction Plan" and "Environmental Protection Elementary School" project explanation meeting were conducted, and a total of 29 people participated.
11.Conclusions and suggestions:
The plan has been implemented and completed the related work content of 10 major work items, and the final work results report is reported according to the schedule, so that the Environmental Protection Agency can effectively grasp the quality and quantitative results of the implementation of the plan. The relevant suggestions are briefly explained as follows.
(1)The action plan results report can be based on the action plan work items, combined with the governance axis and SDGs sustainable development indicators, collect relevant data from multiple sources, and aggregate and analyze the achievement rate of benefits and key performance indicators.
(2)It is recommended that related lecture activities can change the activity form, in addition to lectures, add multiple forms such as practice, experience, outdoor learning, and realize different learning aspects. Also increase the participation of citizen groups.
(3)Continue to care about environmental education in the county to promote active private enterprises, organizations, agencies (institutions), communities, township offices, schools, etc., maintain friendly contacts with them, encourage participation in environmental education awards in the coming year, and at the same time, assist in reorganizing related achievements and Data, analyze and build files to help shorten the follow-up preparation period.
(4)Environmental education picture books have been fruitful. It is recommended that you continue to connect with the authors who have been awarded this year, provide the main topics of environmental education in the county, and encourage related creation in conjunction with governance issues, so that the works are more localized and in line with local characteristics.
