“ 2021 Chiayi City Low-Carbon Campus and Green Life Promotion Plan” had had three main work projects which included “Low-Carbon Campus Evaluation”, “Low-carbon campus environment construction” and “Low-carbon tourism promotion. ” The summary of implementation results is as follows： 1. Low-Carbon Campus Evaluation (a) Completed the development of the Chiayi City Low-Carbon Campus Certification Program (b) Completed the design of the Chiayi City low-carbon campus badge, divided into gold level and silver level. (c) Completed the establishment of the Chiayi City Low-Carbon Campus Mark Review Committee. (d) A total of 12 schools applied for the low-carbon campus label in Chiayi City. After review, 12 schools received the gold level and 4 schools received the silver level. The commendation event was handled on November 29, 2021, and was commended by Mayor Huang Minhui. 2. Low-carbon campus environment construction (a) A total of 10 schools in Chiayi City’s low-carbon campus environmental renovation goal in 2021. (b) A total of 12 schools have applied for the renovation plan in 2021. After review and site surveys, 10 schools have been approved for implementation. (c) In 2021, complete the construction of 10 low-carbon campuses, reducing carbon by 80,948 kg, and use it as a place to promote environmental education courses 3. Low-carbon tourism promotion (a) Completed planning of 5 low-carbon tourism routes in Chiayi City. (b) Features of low-carbon tourism routes include forestry villages, historic sites, museums, etc. (c) Completed 2 low-carbon small trips, 47 people participated in total, and the work achievement rate was 100%. (d) Completed the green map of Chiayi City. (e) Completion of low-carbon tourism training courses, 52 participants in total, 100% achievement rate.
