In order to promote the county residents' awareness of mitigating global climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through daily practice, Hsinchu County actively promotes low-carbon sustainable homes, which include (1) enhancing the sustainable development capacity of the community, (2) improving energy Efficiency and clean energy management, (3) establishing an ecological green environment, (4) cultivating low-carbon living habits, (5) promoting the participation of community members and community groups, and (6) thinking about response strategies in the face of climate change. The plan assists in maintaining and strengthening the low-carbon sustainable home operation system, promoting the low-carbon sustainable home rating certification and related work on greenhouse gas control.
