Absrtact
The main objective of this project is to expand the variety and quantity of Green Mark products, as well as to promote the Green Mark and Net Zero Green Life Movement. The execution focuses on providing guidance and resources to business managers and owners, enhancing their ability to self-apply and assess for certification, and conducting a series of promotional activities. The following presents a summary of the significant outcomes and benefits resulting from the successful execution of this project, organized into three key implementation aspects. Firstly, in terms of counseling, we have provided guidance and engaged with industry stakeholders. We have established different screening criteria and principles for various sectors and assisted 10 companies in applying for the Green Mark. Through this counseling mechanism, not only did we increase the number of environmentally labeled products, but we also identified practical issues, collected and organized them, and provided solutions, which served as important references for expanding the range of labeled products. Secondly, in terms of promotion, we focused on raising public awareness and disseminating policy information. We organized a series of activities under the the 30th Anniversary of the Green Mark and Net Zero Green Life Movement campaign, including a press conference, six collaborative events with county and city environmental protection bureaus, and a roundtable forum. These activities collectively engaged over 3,000 participants, effectively promoting the concept of the Environmental Protection Administration's Zero Waste policy and the achievements of the Green Mark. They provided an opportunity for direct interaction and connection with the public, enabling them to gain a practical understanding of the Zero Waste policy and the promotion of the Green Mark. Lastly, in terms of exchange, we facilitated discussions and gathered opinions from the academia and industry. Through five online and offline consultation meetings, we invited experts and scholars from both sectors to collect and compile relevant suggestions and opinions regarding green living guidelines, technology initiatives, and the expansion of the Green Mark. These inputs serve as valuable references for policy formulation. Overall, this project has met the contractual requirements and achieved its goals. In addition, valuable feedback and suggestions have been gathered from the counseling of industry professionals and the organization of events. It is hoped that this information can be used as a reference for future policy promotion.
