Absrtact
The System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA), promoted by the United Nations over the years, is suitable as a foundational tool for integrated assessment of the current state of environmental protection and resource management in our country. The Environmental Goods and Services Sector accounts (EGSS) are comprised of all producers providing environmental goods and services. All goods produced, designed, and manufactured for the purposes of environmental protection or resource management fall within the scope of EGSS, whose calculation aim is to provide indicators for the production of environmental goods, services, and technologies. This year (112), referring to the compilation results of the 109-year EGSS accounts, the second chapter revises the list of environmental products. After reduction and amendment, the list of domestic products remains at 85 items. The trial compilation results of this project for this year show that the output of the four major variables of EGSS is 1,550,900 million Yuan, the added value is 525,372 million Yuan, exports amount to 227,109 million Yuan, and the employment number is 389,519. Compared to the previous project's compilation of the 109-year EGSS accounts and the compilation of this year's 110-year EGSS accounts (hereinafter referred to as YoY), the YoY 110 output increased by 383,712 million Yuan over the 109-year, with a growth rate of 32.87%, mainly due to this year's refined strategies and completing more project calculations than before. The added value of YoY 110 increased by 117,179 million Yuan compared to 109-year, with growth rates of 28.71% respectively. The export value of YoY 110 increased by 10,616 million Yuan compared to 109-year, with a growth rate of 4.90%. The number of employees in YoY 110 increased by 59,191 compared to 109-year, with a growth rate of 17.92%. In 110-year, our country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) nominal value was 21,738,982 million Yuan, and the added value of EGSS for 110-year accounted for 2.417% of our country's GDP, compared to the proportion of 2.06% of the EGSS added value to our country's GDP in 109-year, indicating growth. From an industrial perspective, the main growth comes from the increase in manufacturing projects included.
