For 16 consecutive years since 2008, the National Environmental Research Academy.（NERA） has been sponsoring the "Environmental Dedicated Personnel and Technicians". Up to this year, 162 Professionals and Technicians have been recognized for their outstanding performance in environmental protection. To accommodate a diversified industry sector, this year is divided into eight groups. Including in dedicated air pollution control personnel, dedicated wastewater treatment personnel, professional technical personnel for clearance and disposal of waste, professional technical management personnel for toxic chemical substances, environmental agent manufacturer professional technicians, environmental agent vendor professional technicians, and pest control operator professional technicians, personnel for soil pollution assessment investigation, dedicated personnel for indoor air quality management and health risk evaluation personnel. The criteria for the selection including environmental protection planning and responsibility, achievements in environmental protection, and promotion of public awareness of the importance of environmental protection work. The recipients of this year's（2023）include12 Environmental Dedicated Personnel and Technicians. Striving to enhance environmental quality in Taiwan, the NERA has published the Summary of the Winners for Excellent Performance in Environmental Protection, which outlines the experiences of these Dedicated Personnel and Technicians. In addition, allowing the winners to share their experiences in promoting environmental protection.
