The goals of this study are (1) to establish a website to collect information about CO2 reduction in order to advance the knowledge of global warming of people in Taiwan, (2) to encourage the enterprise to cooperate with the government to publicize the importance of CO2 reduction, (3) to establish a video platform to collect the film and news about global warming and CO2 reduction, (4) to hold a competition between the city governments to put CO2 reduction into practice, and (5) to hold a festival of World Environment Day and an exhibition of EPA in the 2008 ITmonth. To date, our achievements are highlighted below:  Establish a website to collect the information and films of global warming and CO2 reduction. There is about 150 thousand people have visited the website between 2008/4 and 2008/12.  Build a CO2 calculating program in the website to calculate every users CO2 emission in their daily life, and give some tips to put CO2 reduction into practice.  Design the cartoon figures of Polar bear and Taiwan bear, and they become the ambassadors of Taiwan’s CO2 reduction actions. There are also comics of Polar bear and Taiwan bear to teach people how to save energy and cut down the carbon emission in their daily life.  Accomplish the competition between the city governments. Hold a awarding ceremony on the Earth Day(4/22), and give rewards to the cities who did well in CO2 reduction to encourage other cities to make improvements next year.  Hold an exhibition of images of global warming and a festival on the World Environment Day to show the importance of reducing CO2 emission. About 8000 people have gone to the exhibition during a week.  Visit some enterprises to understand their attitude toward global warming and CO2 reduction.  Hold an exhibition of EPA in the 2008 ITmonth. Encouraging people to sign in the website of EPA and promise to put CO2 reduction into practice.
