Pingtung County emphasis on monitoring, inspecting and controlling practice on the open-air burning and collecting and burning of fake paper money project.

In order to eliminate outdoor burning of agricultural wastes and further maintain air quality, the objective of this project was right to improve farmers' treatment to agricultural wastes.
In inspection and control of outdoor burning, there were 696 inspected cases in this year. Nanjhou Country, Linbian Country, Jiadung Country, Fangliao Country and Kaohsu Country ranked first among the number of cases found. And the most common category for outdoor burning was the waxapple waste.
In propaganda for the banning of outdoor burning, there were 4 substituted classes established, accumulated in total 9 substituted classes , the allowance for about 310 farms, the total amount 78.77 hectares were proceed to broken performance, and set up about 1167 information of farmers.
This year, we also aimed to the government department, plants and temples to hold the emphasis on units of education. It was expected that the wrong methods for outdoor burning could be thoroughly changed throuhg education illustratin. At last, we total collected 24.01 tons of ghost money to waste treatment plant for centralized burning.
