The following project was undertaken between August 1,2010 and March 31,2011. All items within the project have been completed and the results are described below:
The total length of street washing was 9,186.8 km (achievement rate 114.8%),the length of street sweeping was 7,302.5 km (achievement rate 114.6%),anf the length of street washing along the Chuo-Shuei river coast was 5,557.1 km (achievement rate 111.1%). The total achievement rate for this project was 100%.
The total amount of water consumed for the street washing was 11,294.6 tons. Monthly water consumption generally ranges from 1.19 to 1.35 tons/km, with an average of 1.23 tons/km. The aboce amount conforms to both the EPA’s established criterion and the agreement of this project (i.e.,per unit of water consumption must exceed 0.9 tons/km).
The total amount of dust collected during street sweeping was 82.9 tons.Monthly dust collection generally ranges between 5.96 to 18.84 kg/km, with an average amount of 11.35 kg/km.
For the 9,186.8 km of street washing,the amount of TSP reduction is estimated to be 126.8 tons.For the 7,302.5 km of street sweeping, the amount of TSP reduction is estimated to be 100.8 tons.For the 5,557.1 km length of street washing along the Chuo-Shuei river coast, the amount of TSP reduction is estimated to be 76.7 tons. Therefore, the total amount of TSP reduction is estimated to be 304.3 tons.
