This project, entitled The project of making improvement for YunlinCounty’s environmental image of fugitive sources in 2010, stared from
March 5, 2010. The purpose of this project is to strengthen the emission control of fugitive particulate from gravel pits, debris storage yards or asphalt mixing site and temporary site for debris transport, etc (hereinafter referred as fugitive sources in gravel pits,etc ). Beside, this project counseled those sides for
consisting with the project, called Stationary sources of air pollution control fugitive pollutants facility management regulations. The purpose of this project is also to popularize Green, to enhance the inspecting work in clean air zones in Yunlin County and then to improve the effectiveness of maintenance and management. Furthermore, the purpose of this project is also to track and counsel the bare lands based on the result of investigation in 2009 in order to confirm that every unseemly conduct is modified. Also, the purpose of this project is to improve the overall image of the construction sites.
Operations of this project are following the provisions of the contract. The implementation of
this project is showed as follows:
1. This project investigated 45 companies including 61 processes and 409 fines were made due to the investigation made by this project. The regulation compliance was improved from 23% to 78% due to the intensive investigation.
2. This project counseled 14 sites to clean roads round the sites for 3185 meters. 810 arbors were planted at LTK coast due to promoting Green and 1.0399 hectares of bare land is adopted.
3. Due to the building and updating the information from air quality clean area
and controlling the status of the bases, the information from 66 sites has been updating and all tracking scopes were built.
4. Promote management units and regularly login Eco Life Green Net.Consequently 66 sites have logged and their information updated.
5. Due to the project, called Improving the overall image of the construction site, 30 meters of green fence was implemented.
This project of investigating fugitive sources is based on the project, called Stationary sources of air pollution control fugitive pollutants facility management regulations, to strengthen the emission control and the regulation compliance. Beside, this project helped promoting a checking system in Clean
Air Zone in order to show the effectiveness of maintenance and management in every Clean Air Zone. Furthermore, to enhance the concept of clean air zones and practical value. We also hosted a Clean Air Zone Environmental Education
Camp for the students in Yunlin county elementary school. In order to making
enterprises to participate environemntal work, we assist govermwnt to encourage enterprises to adopt bare land and road maintenance plan. By doing these, the reputation of enterprises will be enhanced and the achievement of this
project would be showed.
