In order to highlight Taiwan’s advanced achievements in resource recycling for the past decade and promote our advanced resource recycling system, there are two activities in this project this year:
(1) This year we invite domestic and international eminent professionals to share their perspective. Three major topics are『Reuse and Recycling Technology』、『The Trend of Recycled Products』and『The Applications of alternative materials』. The 2010 International Conference on Resource Recycling was held at the International Conference Hall in Cheng Kung University on November 16th-17th, 2010. It amounts to 428 people to participate in this conference. Participants respond enthusiastically to the conference and are highly satisfied. The conference has been extensively reported, including 5 reports in print media, 20 reports in electronic media and 25 reports in community websites.(2) In order to demonstrate the Taiwanese technology and achievements in resource recycling, this year we launch the Recycling Technology Exhibition, which is divided into five areas including governmental department, academic and research institution, resource recycling organization, second material platform, eco-friendly product and service. Furthermore, we hope that attendee would practically experience the recycling technology and this exhibition could attract more talents to engage in this field. Finally, we suggest the lead time (pre-procedure) could be extended from one year to two year. The conference would become perfect if the executive have enough time to invite masters in the field of resource recycling and promote the event worldwide.
