As the different conditions in industrial structure, the factories including electric power industry, petrochemical industry, steel industry, secondary smelting industry, foundry industry, plastics processing industry, paint industry and the metal heat treatment industry set up in Kaohsiung created lots of pollution. The Air Quality Control District of Kaohsiung-Pingtung received more loading in environment than the others. So we promoted several control measures to reduce air pollution emissions in order to improve our air quality.
In this project we gave advice to promoted the concept of environmental folk festival, decreased lampblack emission, managed Indoor Air Quality, and checked emission license of stationary source. According to our implementation of pollution reduction, we reduced 4.53 tons in PM, 186.87 tons in SOx, 125.567 tons in NOx, 17.743 tons in VOCs, 10.39 tons in CO and 0.007 tons in PAH.
