First Year Tasks Associated with “Efficiency Upgrade, System Maintenance, and Promotion of the Envir
| 英文摘要 | The work items specified in the contract include maintenance of normal system operation and connection quality, system function enhancement, system connection, and statistical analysis. Considerable time was spent in adjusting the system and improving system function in response to the city-county consolidation policy and the development of e-payment function. In maintaining system functionality and connection quality, regular monitoring was performed on all hardware monitoring data, and no significant abnormalities were found. Information security inspection was undertaken periodically in compliance with regulation of the Department of Environmental Monitoring & Information Management. See Chapter 2 to learn more. For the enhancement of system functionality, 129 update requests and problems were addressed, down 36% compared with 202 of last year and a strong indication that the system can satisfy user demands. About 650-700 customer calls were answered every month. See Chapter 3 for more detailed explanations. Additionally, the EEMS was connected to the Gas Stations System. Demand columns were adjusted irregularly to go with other already connected systems for better data sharing. Scores of statistical report forms for 2009 were submitted at the first progress report meeting; statistical data were gathered in terms of inspection, final decision, payment, overdue payment, and referral. Statistics modules were also developed to produce the aforementioned statistical reports monthly, quarterly, and annually. The above are the work results achieved as required in the contract. See Chapter 8 for more information. Moreover, system adjustments were made in response to the city-county consolidation policy, which are explained in Chapter 6. During the project implementation period, some cities/counties recommended the development of e-payment function. After numerous meetings and discussions with agencies concerned, the e-payment service was put into effect successfully in early November. The new function is expected to bring citizens more payment convenience. See Chapter 5 for more details. The above summarizes important achievements obtained this year. The contents and outcomes of other work items are detailed in the project report. The ultimate purpose of the EEMS is to provide better services with regard to data establishment, printout, and applicability to maximize the effects of the EEMS system and the project. | ||
