廢水處理池逸散揮發性有機物檢測技術開發

中文摘要 本計畫完成廢水處理池逸散揮發性有機物檢測技術開發,研擬出採樣方法草案,以動力式採樣器進行相關測試,建議使用2 L/min流率做為載流氣體流量,並建議訂定方法時,可以4倍氣體體積交換率做為開始採樣基準;另本計畫執行之26個處理單元水樣與空氣樣品分析結果可發現,各單元測得之空氣污染物以丙酮、甲苯濃度較高,並視製程特性,出現高濃度之物種尚有苯、2-丁酮、乙苯及苯乙烯等,測得高濃度項目與其製程使用原料比對後發現其具有相關性,但空氣污染物濃度與水中測得化合物濃度則無明顯相關性。   另針對同一處理單元進行重複採樣檢測結果發現,檢測出的29種揮發性有機物重複分析差異百分比介於0.0%~195.0%之間,各項目重複採樣檢測結果之相對差異百分比均偏高,其應與廢水單元處於持續運作中且擾動的狀態,水中之揮發性有機物濃度不均勻有關。   以本採樣方法所取得之空氣樣品以NIEA A722.74B、NIEA A701.11C及NIEA A715.14B等方法進行分析,其重複分析差異百分比及查核樣品回收率均符合各方法之品質規範。 本計畫另完成NIEA W785.54B「水中揮發性有機化合物檢測方法—吹氣捕捉/氣相層析質譜儀法」增加1,3-丁二烯項目測試,結果發現其重複分析差異百分比、查核樣品回收率及添加標準品回收率均符合NIEA W785.54B之規範,建議可於該方法中加入1,3-丁二烯項目。

Development of Analytical Method of Fugitive VOCs from Wastewater Treatment Facilities

英文摘要 This study set up the sampling procedure and technology for VOC emission of wastewater treatment units.For the VOCs collection chamber test, we recommended using 2 L/min as the carrier gas flow rate. When setting method, it was recommended that four times of gas volume exchange could be set as the start of sampling. After analyzing 26 water and air samples from wastewater treatment units, acetone and toluene were found at high concentrations in most samples. Depending on the characteristics of processing, benzene, 2-butanone, ethyl benzene and styrene can be also presented at high concentrations. After checking with raw materials used in processes, there is a high correlation between raw materials and the detected chemicals. However, the concentrations of air samples are not consistent with those of water samples. Another testing of 29 volatile organic compounds from duplicate samples showed that the percentages of difference between duplicate analyses were from 0.0% to 195.0%. The difference of duplicate analysis was not quite well, and it might be ascribed to the heterogeneity of water samples from the continuous-flow units. Air samples were sampled and analyzed by NIEA A722.74B, NIEA A701.11C and NIEA A715.14B methods. The results showed that the percentages of difference between duplicate analyses, checking recovery were complying with the quality specifications of each method. The testing of 1,3 - butadiene was completed by using NIEA W785.54B method " Measurement of volatile organic compounds in water by purge and trap coupled with Capillary Column Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry ". The results of duplicate analysis, checking recovery and adding standard recovery were complying with the QA/QC requirements of NIEA W785.54B method. Therefore, NIEA W785.54B method can be applied to the analysis of 1,3-butadiene.
