This report is the final report of the “Community Environmental Patrol Promotion Project”. The work of this project include to hold 4 training sessions , 38 propaganda meetings and 2 propaganda activities in Taipei City, Kaohsiung City, Yilan County and Changhua County.
In order to ensure the work of this project to achieve good effectiveness, in the early implementation of this project, the Foundation staff actively participate in the EPA's Scope meeting of work, and comply with the EPA's special instructions, including the contents of training materials should include the contents of Cleaning-Learning Manual, invite the village officer and community residents to participate , the implement training should be at least 2 hours and every activity should be posted on the Ecolife internet system.
This project has been in accordance with the EPA's regulations and instructions to complete all the work in Taipei and Kaohsiung city, Yilan county and Changhua county. The results were summarized as follows:
1. Held 4 training sessions, with a total of 70 participants. The participants include the village officers, community development commission staffs, property managers, school staffs, community environmental groups, volunteers, university students and graduate students…etc.
2. Held 40 propaganda meetings, with a total of 2,195 participants. The participants included the village officers, community management members, community residents, community development association management officers, environmental volunteer brigades, staffs, university students and graduate students…etc.
3. Held 2 propaganda activities, with a total of 345 participants. minister Shen of the EPA, deputy minister Chang of the EPA, commissioner Wu of the Department of Environmental Protection, Taipei City government and deputy director Chen of Environmental Protection Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government led the participants to do the actual cleaning.
4. Held 2 "Cleaning-Learning and Practicing" activities, with a total of 317 participants. Minister Shen of the EPA, chief secretary Fu of the EPA and commissioner Wu of the Department of Environmental Protection, Taipei City government led the participants to do the actual cleaning.
