The project of fugitive emission sources control and maintenance management of clean air zones in 2011” was started to implement on March 5, 2011. The main objectives were to provide inventory and set up inspections of fugitive emission sources, including deal with sand, clay or clay used in construction manufacturing, cement manufacturing, asphalt mixing, steel smelting, steel casting, mining, lime manufacturing and port. It also provides guidance to help companies comply with regulations to reinforce fugitive emission sources control and works for clean air zones. The implementation of this project which has been accomplished by the contract would show as follows:
1. This project investigated 58 companies including 81 processes and 393 fines were made due to the investigation made by this project. The regulation compliance was 77% due to the intensive investigation.
2. Counseling 2 companies from fugitive emission sources of 10 types of professions to set up as the green model company and setting green process into 3 companies.
3. The proprietors of 10 types of professions (total 16 companies) have been counseled to clean up 5,050 meters roads.
4. To investigate the carbon credit of 53 stations according to the allowance from Environmental Protection Administration. In this project, one totally had investigated 14,794 arbors, and the Carbon Sequestration are 700.63ton CO2.
5. Made 2,300 family contact notes to enhance the concept and practical value of clean air zones. And combining with the air quality purify area with communities and schools to set a promotion and maintenance activity.
This project was implemented according to regulations to reinforce fugitive emission sources control and works for clean air zones to control and enhance the agreement rate. Also, one assisted the examination process and carbon credit investigation of air quality purify areas to demonstrate the effects of maintenance. For promoting the concept and practical value of the areas, one made the family contact notes and hold a promotion activity of “Walking to bridge, Being green together”. Moreover, one had counsel industries to afforest roads together so that would enhance their enterprise image and neighborhood relationship. At the meantime, the performance of this project would be able to demonstrate.
