2012年臺英低碳永續城市論壇-低碳建築與交通發展經驗
| 中文摘要 | 低碳城市議題在全球已蔚為風潮，臺灣自不能置身事外，透過國際間低碳技術交流合作，參考其他國家推動低碳城市策略與實施經驗，對推動國內城市低碳化有立竿見影之效。無論在建構低碳路網、發展推動低碳社區與環保綠色城市之建設各方面，英國皆執世界各國之牛耳，亦是世界各國參考學習的標竿。而同樣身為島國，英國成功的推動永續發展的經驗更值得我國借鏡。因此英國貿易文化辦事處與環保署共同主辦，本會負責執行「2012臺英低碳永續城市論壇—低碳建築與交通發展經驗」，邀請英國專家、國內專家學者及新北市政府代表，透過論壇分享、座談互動與城市行銷經驗交流，希冀透過引進不同的見解、技術力與政策建議，為臺灣的低碳城市打造全新框架與視野，掌握發展綠色經濟之契機，進而邁向低碳永續家園。 | ||

2012 Taiwan & United Kingdom Low Carbon and Sustainable City Forum–Experience of Low Carbon Bui
| 英文摘要 | The global Low Carbon Cities movement is sprouting rapidly, and Taiwan should not be left out of this important international trend, so besides sharing the fruits of low carbon technologies exchange and cooperation, modeling best practices from others efforts at public policies promoting strategies and implementing low carbon cities, we can endeavor to promote our domestic low carbon cities with all immediacy! Whether in terms of establishing low carbon networks, or promoting low carbon communities and developing environmentally-sound green cities, the United Kingdom is one of the world leaders, and her efforts stand as best practices for global emulation. Also, given that the UK is also an island nation, her successful implementation of sustainable development experiences provide us and other islands with an immediate model for public policy borrowing. It was natural then that the British Trade & Cultural Office, BTCO, would cooperate with our Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration, EPA, to host the TAISE-organized “2012 Taiwan & United Kingdom Low Carbon and Sustainable City Forum– Experience of Low Carbon Building and Transportation Development”, inviting experts from the UK, along with domestic scholars and New Taipei City officials, to share in a forum, interactively exchanging experiences in municipal marketing, where different approaches were explained, along with technical aspects and public policy recommendations, helping establish the framework and new vision for low carbon cities in Taiwan, while realizing the opportunities from developing a green economy, as we all work together to achieve a low-carbon, sustainable homeland. | ||
