To promote the relationships of trade and investment of service industry, and build up the mechanisms to develop the Cross-Strait economic cooperation by the basic principles of World Trade Organization (WTO) and Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), the Cross-Strait information exchange platforms of pest management industry were established.
The studies were carried out as following:
1.Surveyed the current situations of pest management industry to enter the cross-strait market realities.
2.Surveyed the market obstacles and difficulties to recommend countermeasures of the pest management industry to enter Cross-Strait market.
3.Collected the related regulations (Decree of the federal and local) in Cross-Strait of pest management industry and compare the differences.
4.Understood the investment trends of pest management industry in mainland and Taiwan.
5.Assisted the company which intends to invest or work in the mainland for market consultation, as company registration and license obtaining and problem solving.
6.To carry on the Cross-strait information exchanges and understand the current situations of pest management industry.
7.Built up the cross-strait information exchanges, the professional terminology for insecticides and pest names were edited.
8.Strengthen the links with the group members and information integration.
9.The relevant information was uploaded to the exchange platform, and set up a task force personnel management information system.
Through the exchanges of relevant information and the investigations, we realized the current situations of pest management industry in the mainland, future potential investment obstacles, difficulties and countermeasures. There were forty-five industry information, forty-five laws and policies, forty-five exchange messages, forty-five lecture articles collected.
We have held two workshops for exchanging the information of pest management industry, and participated in the 3rd international forum for surveillance, control of mosquitoes and mosquito-borne disease, and the 30th National Hygienic Insecticides & Equipments Symposium. Pest management industry is a special technical service, and the service must be approved by governments. The economic Cooperation of Cross-Strait will be promoted gradually by the information exchange platform of pest management industry.
