The project goal is to find solutions for the key issues of Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation. The main task includes the following aspects: (1) to plan the environmental liability insurance system of soil and groundwater pollution; (2) to strengthen management of pollution sites; (3) to plan the research and development road map for Soil and Groundwater investigation and Remediation technologies; (4) to plan Taiwan to be the regional technical center of Soil and Groundwater investigation and Remediation.
We have collected domestic and international information, and made 4 plans for the key issues of Soil and Groundwater Remediation. Those will lay the foundations of Sustainable Development for the Soil Pollution and Groundwater Remediation industry. Taiwan EPA would integrate all resource from Industry, government, and academy to reach the aim of becoming an Asia pioneer in Soil and Groundwater field, including investigation and remediation.
