From January 1, 2013 to December 31 , 2014, the totally certificated amount of waste Electronic and Electric Appliances (EA) equipments were 5,248,430 sets, including 2,256,033 CRT TVs, 43,672 LCD TVs, 835,185 refrigerators, 888,107 washing machines, 1,218,209 air conditioners and 7,224 electric fans. The totally certificated amount of Waste IT Equipment (IT) equipments were 6,978,178 sets, including 772,330 CRT monitors, 1,658,085 LCD monitors, 2,526,767 class A, B and C motherboards, 166,647 waste portable computer - notebooks, 1,356,830 printers and 497,699 keyboards.
During the project period, the amount of unqualified waste EA reached 24,224 sets, included 13,613 CRT TVs, 474 LCD TVs, 4,538 refrigerators, 2,796 washing machines, 2,766 air conditioners and 37 electric fans. The amount of unqualified waste IT equipments reached 25,993 sets, included 5,266 CRT monitors, 7,606 LCD monitors, 6,809 class A motherboards, 941 class B motherboards, 86 class C motherboards, 468 waste portable computer - notebooks, 3,638 printers and 1,179 keyboards. The subsidy saved for waste EA equipments was 10,546,209 NT dollars and for waste IT equipments was 5,464,457 NT dollars. The sum of total savings was 16,010,666 NT dollars.
During the operating procedures execution, the rate of ‘auditing and certification facilities’ of abnormal events is highest. The project has asked the subsidized institutions to strengthen the care and maintenance of CCTV to reduce the frequency of failures and ensure a clear picture. By checking the environmental industrial safety once a month, we found that the fire safety facilities are often failure. For renewable materials and other waste, all inventories are in compliance with the provisions of the manual. The following of cars, two points check and the final disposal site checking didn’t be found any unusual situations. We equipped GPS on the removal vehicles to monitor the operations. During the project period, there were no major abnormal event be found by CPA professional accounting auditors checking.
