(1)Fully grasp the carbon footprint information, either from the domestic or abroad. It update the contact list for personnel in the International Carbon Footprint Development Organization, analyzing and studying ISO/TS 14067 with regards to the carbon footprint of products technical specification, paying a visit to the executive department of the environmental on carbon footprint
labeling in France. Take part in two international conferences, which are Product Environmental Footprint World Summit and Asia Carbon Footprint Network.
(2)Enhance the business capacity in carbon emission calculation on their own. It provide guidance to companies to set up four product category rules and carbon footprint calculation for two products. Four seminars on the instructions on carbon footprint labeling application have been held as well as three training sessions on the carbon footprint calculation for prodcuts have been organized.
(3)Complete the carbon label review work. It convene 6 sessions for product carbon footprint inspection team and 10 sessions for
technical team. Assistance is provided to convene two business development conferences for cross departmental units in the government and one session on regulation brain-storming.
(4)Increase the promotion effect of carbon footprint labeling. This project has completed the organization of one "Product Carbon Footprint Seminar". The result and achievement of the seminar was also covered and reported by print media and electronic media. As positive feedbacks have been returned from four schools after four promotion campaigns on Taiwan's Carbon Footprint Labeling
Project have been organized for them respectively. Lastly, five sessions of promotion by exhibition stations have been arranged.
(5)Tracking and auditing products with carbon footprint labels. According to the Working Guidelines for the Promotion of Product
Carbon Footprint Labeling by the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan, inspection work have been conducted to follow up the carbon footprint labeling practice for 20
products.
