The Kinmen EPB performed” the plan of Green living environment to builded” in 2014. The EPB actively promotes living environment and set up the green store by enterprise and organization; and it encourages people to buy commodities which have environmentally friendly mark; it brought up citizens have environmental literacy. The Government is for citizens to build positive values and attitudes, and to produce concepts of environment sustainable development pattern.
I. The good of environmentally friendly products selling
1. Counselling the green store application: It had added 5 new green stores, including 4 convenience stores (7-11) and a stationer.
2. Counselling and checking of the green store: it had checked out 35 green stores. The achievement rate is 100%. It includes 14 convenience stores (7-11), 6 marketplaces, 2 general stores,4 3C stores, 2 tsannkuen stores, a Pxmart store, 3 stationers,1 motorcycle shop,2 computer peripherals.
3. Counselling green store supply sold amount: It has 9 green stores to supply sold amount, the amount is 3,120,368 NT dollars.
4. Promotion for environment products: It had 10 promotions in August, and 1,029 people participate in the promotions.
II. Encourage companies and organizations to implement green procurement
1. Counselling companies, organizations and communities to declare green procurement: It has already counselling companies, organizations and communities, which is 24.
2. Counselling companies, organizations and communities supply sold amount: there are 7 companies which has already wrote purchase report. The cumulative amount is 1,061,080 dollars, and uploads to the system.
3. There are 5 companies which join the green consortiums.
4. The Government counselling manufacturing and service trade to apply for environmentally friendly mark: The Government executes an explanation session for service trade, and it counselling 4 companies to apply for environmentally friendly mark.
III. The green consumer education activities
1. It executes 71 consumer education activities, which include 36 activities with government agencies or society, and the other 35 activities withvillage. The numbers of participants are 9,396.
2. The staff help promote green consumption: The attendance pieces have 78 which sign in the green living system.
3. Production and use of media propaganda advocacy of green consumption: It markes 1500 kits that designs for people who participation in green consumption and environmental mark, and it posts bulletin in government agencies, community building, and green store. About media advocacy, we worte 4 news for green procurement. We release 49 piece of related news, and published in green living information network.
IV. EPA promotes and counseling the plan
1. Promote green wedding: We hold the green wedding with bureau of civil administration in September, and 12 newlyweds join. Then they could take 5,000 dollars and a green mark product.There were 3 pair newlyweds registration presently, but it had to verify that only one pair newlyweds passed by EPA.
2. Counselling catering for green expend: We add 5 catering to become the star green restaurant.
3. Counselling catering for hotel Industry: We add 45 hotels to join green hotel.
4. Environmental set point system: We hold the activity that is named “Look the environmental mark, set point change goodies”. The activity time from today to 2015/2/28. The numbers of participants are continued to increase.
5. We promote the implementation of green procurement plan with private companies and organizations, and we are implementation and evaluation of relevant work: The assessment score is 91.5 presently.
