環境教育資訊網之系統功能整合、提升、維護及行銷專案工作計畫(第2年)
| 中文摘要 | 環境保護為近年來全世界高度關注之議題，在追求國家永續發展之下，惟有提高全民對於環境倫理與責任之重視，方能達到永續發展之目標；有鑑於此，我國於民國99年公布《環境教育法》，100年6月5日起正式實施，期望運用教育之方式，培養國人瞭解環境與社會發展之依存關係，增進全民對於環境保護之知識、技能、態度及價值觀，進而提升環境道德觀，為國內環境教育作業奠定永續發展的里程碑。 在《環境教育法》實施以來，本計畫持續配合環保署環境教育相關業務推動，著手開發各項系統功能，包含環境講習、補助申請、四小時申報、知識宣導、環教活動資訊提供等。另於103年起，協助環保署辦理環境教育終身學習護照推廣活動，來推動全民環境教育學習之目標，達永續發展利用之精神。 本計畫目前所維護之主要系統包含有「環境教育管理資訊系統」、「環境教育終身學習網」及「環境E學院」3大系統，輔助中央及地方主管機關推動環境教育相關業務；並建立影片專區、環教旅遊地圖及環教圖書館等輔助性網站，提供完整、多元、豐富、便捷且有效的資源共享平臺，除滿足使用者基本需求外，亦具備宣傳功能，打造良好公共形象，如此不僅讓民眾能夠透過更多管道獲取環境教育知識與資訊，同時提升環保署對於環境教育推動之績效與形象，達成雙贏局面。 | ||

| 英文摘要 | Environmental protection has become a global buzzword over the past few decades. We now understand that the growth of a nation will not last without raising awareness among its people about eco-ethics and responsibilities. It is therefore expected that Taiwan’s Environmental Education Act, published in 2010 and having taken effect on June 5th of the following year, can give the public educational insights into the interdependence between the environment and social progress, while at the same time improving their knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and, eventually, morality in regard to environmental protection, so as to lay a solid foundation for sustainable environmental education (EE) programs. Ever since the introduction of the Environmental Education Act, the work Plan has contributed to the EE efforts of Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) by constantly incorporating new online system features related to workshops, subsidies, the 4-hour minimum training reporting system, academic information, participatory events, etc. In 2014, the Work Plan catered to EPA’s effort to promote its Lifelong EE Passport, which encourages people nationwide to utilize natural resources sustainably with bolstered ecological intelligence. Currently the Work Plan involves maintaining three online systems that complement the EE initiatives of central or local authorities: the “Environmental Education Information Management System”, “Lifelong e-Learning Website for Environmental Education” and “E-School”. It aims to integrate video databases, ecotourism maps, libraries and other features into a comprehensive, diversified, content-rich, accessible and effective online EE platform where information is shared not only to meet users’ basic needs, but also to raise EPA’s public profile. The ultimate goal is to offer the public greater access to EE and relevant information, while simultaneously achieving a win-win situation by enhancing EPA’s performance and public image in terms of EE. | ||
