The major purpose of this project is to assist EPA to accomplish “river fugitive dust prevention and improvement program ”.
Through the establishment of budget subsidy and evaluation method, we can improve the implementation efficiency of local government’s environmental agencies. Besides, we will also compile all local governments’ implementation results, analyze their deficiency and excellent points in order to enhance the overall river dust prevention methodology. We have also assisted EPA to revise and renewal their rules and regulations on (1) Principles and processes of subsidary project application. (2) Subsidary project review and evaluation process.
Choosing one river site to perform time series and simulation model analyze in order to find out the key factors that affect the variation of river fugitive dust.
Finally, we have integrated and condereed all our results into booklet together with video tape so EPA can use them for public promotional related activities.
