The project, has completed the following main events, and the results are described below:
1. The street washing length was completed 15,469.3 kilometers and the street sweeping length was finished 13,773.8 kilometers. The street sweeping length in institution and community was achieved 8,828.28 kilometers. The total length of street cleaned is 38,071.38 kilometers.
2. The total water consumption for street washing is 18,913.96 tons. The water use per month is between 1.13 and 1.3 tons per kilometer, and average water use amounted to 1.19 tons/kilometer.
3. The collected street dust amounts to 124.83 tons. The amount of collecting dust per month is between 3.82 and 8.37 kilograms/kilometer, and the average collecting dust amount is 5.52 kilograms/kilometer.
4. The street washing task was completed 15,469.3kilometers and the total suspended particulate matter (TSP) reductions estimated 213.48 tons. The street sweeping task was finished 22,602.08 kilometers and the estimated reductions in TSP is311.91 tons. Hence, the street cleaning operations on the project could reduce TSP about to 525.39 tons.
5. To promote the Adopt-A-Road program to reduce maintain cost. There are 41 businesses have joined the Yulin County Adopt-A-Road program. The execution of adopted road length amounts to 11,689.39 kilometers, and estimated TSP reductions is about to 161.31 tons.
6. To improve paving pollution by agricultural machinery during farming season, ten paving pollution prevention workshops for rural communities which have larger harvest areas were held(totally 517 persons attended); Seven workshops were held for schools(totally 215 persons attended).
7. Seven press releases about the project published on the print media and network.
8. The length of work field check was finished 3,312.76kilometers, and total completed rate was ＞100%. The results above appeared care and endeavor of this project.
9. The total length of street pollution grade investigation between March 2014 and February 2015 was 2,064.8 kilometers (104 streets). The results of the investigation showed the street pollution main grade of the county is A.
10. Examining streets dust loadings before and after the street cleaning operations for 32 spots and checking of water quality of operating water were completed. The total completed rate was 100%.
11. The external examination of this project was held on August 14, 2014. And it was rated as excellent (A grade) by the committee.
12. To make a deeper impression on the public in street cleaning operations and enhance this conception, we planned and transacted drawing competition that was involved washing and sweeping streets through vote. These activities helped increasing visibility for the project and could be used as reference for carrying out follow-up plans.
