Species distribution data are crucial information in ecology. To date, many conservation organizations have constructed species distribution databases, but these databases are not well integrated. We proposed a research plan to solve this problem. Major tasks include: 1. Digitizing species data in environmental impact assessment (EIA) reports, facilitating future data analysis and display. 2. Developing technical guidance of turning in following biodiversity survey data, facilitating future data collection and integration. 3. Hosting an expert meeting requesting advice from EIA experts. 4. Hosting two public meetings explaining the revised technical guidance. 5. Surveying the species distribution databases constructed by ministry of natural resources’ subordinate organizations. 6. Developing proposals to integrate species distribution databases, facilitating strategy making based on complete information in the future.
