This project assists the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) to implement a cross-strait environmental education current status survey and exchange in 2015. The key points include collecting information on current environmental education in Mainland China to enhance the understanding of cross-strait environmental education. It provides instant access to the most current exchange environmental education outcomes by renewing the Cross-Strait Environmental Service Exchange Platform. Fifteen items in Environmental Education – Newest Information of Industrial Development, four in Environmental Education – Industrial
Regulations in Mainland China, and two in Environmental Education – Conferences and Exchange Information were uploaded to the platform this year, and two special topics papers were provided as well.
Cross-strait environmental education specialists and industrial exchange activity was completed in September 2015, which has effectively implemented environmental education. The activity included visiting environmental education bases and holding a cross-strait specialist roundtable discussion and interchange between cross-strait representatives to follow up on the signing of the Cross-Strait Environmental Protection Cooperation Agreement so as to integrate it into the direction and possibilities for the environmental education discussion.
