Goals of this program are to record and publicize the evolution and achievements of Taiwan’s environmental protection policy, along with its future environmental and sustainable development strategy and direction, and to communicate and dialogue with the public about today’s challenges and the difficulties faced by Taiwan and the world, with the purpose of raising people’s environmental awareness and enhance environmental education. In addition, this program uses a new generation of mass communication to effectively convey our nation’s efforts and decisions regarding environmental protection.
This project consists of three major items: (1), producing one or more digital multimedia audio/video films in full high definition, 15 to 25 minutes in length, with the theme of "sustainable development of global and Taiwan environments" using footage reduction of waste at source, recycling of resources, environmentally sustainable development, and urban mining, in order to record and advocate protection of our nation’s environment. (2), organizing at least one large public lecture focusing on today's world and Taiwan’s concerns on environmental issues as well as the principles of Taiwan’s environmentally sustainable development. It is expected that at least 500 people would participate in such an activity. Moreover, audio/video and image records will be posted on the internet. and (3), establishing and maintaining "a website dedicated to the program’s concept” (in both Chinese and English versions), in which the planning of theme and content should focus primarily on "the sustainable development of global and Taiwan environments“ in order to record and advocate Taiwan's environmental protection policy, evolution and achievements or environment-related issues through the use of various forms of communication that promote the website advocating the program’s concept.
Through producing videos, organizing large-scale public speeches and building a dedicated website, we expect to interact with the public through the integration of cross-media channels, including: television (video broadcast footage), newspapers (essence reports of presentation record), dedicated website and video Internet marketing KPI reaching and linking assurances (FB, YouTube), direct marketing activities (large-scale public speech) and LIVE broadcast (network online broadcast and publicity), etc., so as to create an integrated marketing platform to convey a comprehensive message.
