The objectives of this project focus on two major items. Firstly, in recent years Taiwan’s wastes have posed a heavy burden on its environment. It also poses a threat on its living quality. Secondly, garbage produced by people’s daily life and industrial wastes generated by industries are continuously increasing. Also, the treatment cost of domestic wastes is continuously increasing in recent years. In addition, the environmental regulations are becoming increasingly stringent. Some of the traditional treatment technologies are not adequate for treating today’s new relevant wastes from the emerging industries. Thinking of today’s circular economy theory has started entering governmental governance core. They started to think on how to find a place for these wastes, in the meantime on how to convert them into green energy.
