Promrtion of "Environmental Education capacity" is used as the operational framework in this project. Implemented area of this project included Miaoli, Taichung, Nantou, Changhua, Yunlin, Kinmen six city or Counties. And following up the five main programs of EE capacity to implement the project, include leadership academy, building environmental education capacity, technology to support the field, research and evaluation, dissemination partnerships.
There are several goals to set for Central Environmental Education Regional Center. To develop the environmental features, solve the environmental problems, promote environmental education tasks effectively; we have to integrate the resources and private industry, government, academia, social education institutions, and NGO in the central region of Taiwan. We tutor and help the personnel, institution, and sites of partner units certified. To integrate the environmental expertise and resource, we offer environmental education empowerment courses and workshops. Furthermore, we build the evaluation mechanisms of environmental education to impact assessment for short, medium and long-term environmental education.
