The evaluation and improvement of the trash collection strategy of the domestic Pay As You Throw (PAYT) waste disposal fee project
| 英文摘要 | The project assists the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) in reviewing the domestic Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) trash collection strategy of the general waste clearance and disposal fund in Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taichung City, Shigang, Korea, the United States and the European Union. The project also proposes the effectiveness evaluation and improvement suggestions for domestic and international promotion and implementation of the current garbage collection policy based on the interviews with the county officials and poll questionnaires, etc. The project researches key problems and case studies of the PAYT promotion strategies. Three expert consultation meetings were conducted to discuss different types of solutions, the technical implementation level, the financial management level and the political populace level. Solutions will be developed to improve strategy and promote waste disposal. The project completes specific measures for PAYT, compiles guidelines for promoting PAYT policy, and assists the EPA to gradually promote PAYT. | ||
